Cancer can strike at any age. Our Oncology Service is dedicated to early detection, timely and accurate diagnosis, in order to plan for the best treatment options for your pet, whilst keeping your goal for your pet in mind.

    Breast cancers in female dogs and cats.

At VetiVa our Cardiology Service is dedicated to providing specialized care for pets with heart conditions. Led by experienced veterinarians with advanced training in cardiology, our team is committed to diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of cardiac diseases affecting dogs and cats, be it congenital or acquired.
Our Services
Our Cardiology Service offers comprehensive care for pets with conditions such as:
  • Congestive Heart Failure:
    A condition where the heart fails to pump efficiently, leading to fluid accumulation in the lungs or abdomen.
  • Cardiomyopathy:
    Diseases of the heart muscle, including dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
  • Valvular Disease:
    Conditions affecting heart valves, such as mitral valve disease.
  • Arrhythmias:
    Abnormal heart rhythms, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and bradyarrhythmias.
  • Congenital Heart Defects:

    Minimally invasive procedure to treat valvular stenosis (narrowing), commonly performed for pulmonic stenosis or mitral valve stenosis.
  • Pacemaker Implantation:
    Surgical placement of a pacemaker to manage bradyarrhythmias and improve heart rate.
  • Pericardiocentesis:
    Removal of fluid from the pericardial sac to relieve cardiac tamponade caused by pericardial effusion.
  • Closure of Congenital Defects:
    Surgical or catheter-based closure of congenital heart defects such as patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) or atrial septal defects (ASD).
